Aquafortus is the world’s foremost expert in solvent-based desalination, and holds 7 families of patents, spanning composition of matter and process, and innumerable trade secrets on this topic. It has developed its technology completely in-house and does not have a close competitor in its field.
Aquafortus has developed the proprietary ABX process through robust testing - it has tested its technology on 59 commercial brines across multiple industries spanning oil & gas, mining and various industrial processes. It has constructed and is commissioning its first operational pilot plant in the Permian Basin.
